We cut our hair short years ago and never looked back. Then we decided to help everyone else do the same — with better information than we had.

This site grew out of a recurring frustration: the internet is full of content for long hair and remarkably thin on genuinely useful guidance for short styles. Pinterest boards show the looks, but they rarely explain the technique, the maintenance, the right products, or the reality of living with a pixie or bob between cuts. We built the resource we kept searching for and couldn՚t find.

Our team is made up of short-haired writers, stylists, and beauty editors who wear and care for short styles daily. We know the specific challenges: the cowlick that a longer style could hide but a crop cannot; the way fine pixies collapse without the right product; the precise timing of trims that keeps a geometric bob looking sharp versus growing out formlessly.
